FAQ

Q: I need proof of employment and/or proof of income from Sunshine Staffing.  What do I need to do?

A: Effective September 1, 2013, Rita Staffing will be using The Work Number to provide Proof of Employment and Income.

For Proof of Employment please provide the following information to the person seeking your proof of employment:

    1. www.theworknumber.com or 800-367-5690.
    2. Sunshine Staffing’s Employer Code is 14611.
    3. Your Social Security Number

Proof of Income:  in most instances you will release your income information via a signed release form as part of your application process.  In limited situations you may be required to create a salary key.  Following are the steps to creating a Salary Key:

    1. Visit www.theworknumber.com/employees or call 1-800-367-2884
    2. Enter:  The Sunshine Staffing Employer Code = 14611.  Your User ID = your Social Security Number.  Your PIN = Last 6 digits of your social
    3. Select to “Create a Salary Key” – write down the salary key
    4. Give your verifier the salary key and ask them to visit www.theworknumber.com or call 1-800-367-5690
Q: How often do I have to complete an application?

A: You only have to complete an application once unless your work experience changes.  However, you may be required to do yearly updates.

Q: How long do you keep my file?

A: We keep your file forever.

Q: When and where can I fill out an application?

A: You can fill out an application online; If you do not have access to a computer (home, family, friend, public library, etc.), applications are also accepted in each of our offices Monday through Friday 9:00am to 11:00am and 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

Q: I have completed an application.  What can I expect?

A: Please remember Sunshine Staffing places candidates on assignments based on skills, qualifications, and other criteria.  Due to the high volume of applicants, we will only contact you if we have a current opening for which you are qualified.  It is only necessary to call in once per week to keep us updated on your current status.

Q: I am scheduled for an interview. What forms of identification do I need to provide?

Q: I am sick and can’t go to work.  What do I need to do?

A: If you are unable to go to work for any reason, you must call at least TWO HOURS prior to the start of your shift.  If the office is closed, you MUST leave a message on our 24 hours answering machine.

Q: When do I get paid?

A: All payroll checks are processed at our corporate office in Lakeland on Monday and are either direct deposited or mailed for pick up at our Sebring office on Wednesday.
